Option 1: Handbuilding
8 - 16 participants
A fully handbuilt ceramics experience exploring the three foundational forming techniques: pinch, coil, and slab.
The session begins with gentle grounding and presence exercises, helping participants arrive fully in their bodies and the moment. From there, the workshop flows into guided making, simple Zen-inspired reflections, and shared creative play.
Participants are encouraged to explore form without pressure or expectation — focusing on process over outcome.
Optional:
A 20-minute break where participants can BYO drinks and browse the Storehouse space, allowing for informal connection and conversation.
Ideal for:
• Larger teams
• Wellbeing days
• Teams new to clay
• Groups wanting a calm, inclusive, hands-on experience
Option 2: Handbuilding & Wheel
Max 8 participants
This workshop offers a balanced introduction to both handbuilding and the pottery wheel, allowing participants to experience two distinct ways of working with clay.
The same intentional arc of presence → connection → play is embedded throughout the session. Participants begin with grounding and handbuilding before rotating onto the wheel to experience the meditative rhythm of throwing.
This option offers a deeper tactile engagement while still remaining accessible to beginners.
Optional:
20-minute break with BYO drinks and time to explore the Storehouse space.
Ideal for:
• Smaller teams
• Creative or leadership groups
• Teams seeking variety and depth
• A more immersive experience
Option 3: Wheel
Max 4 participants
An intimate, focused pottery wheel experience designed for deep presence and embodied focus.
Participants are guided step-by-step through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, with emphasis on breath, posture, and rhythm. The wheel naturally invites stillness, attention, and flow — making this a powerful reset for individuals or small leadership teams.
This is less about producing a “perfect” piece and more about experiencing alignment, responsiveness, and letting go of control.
Ideal for:
• Executive or leadership teams
• Small groups
• High-focus experiences
• Those wanting a deeper meditative encounter
