Focus
Sheridan's practice is grounded in trusting that something will reveal itself through the act of making. Working intuitively, she creates organic, figurative vessels that explore both her creative voice and her relationship with the making process. Drawn to rich surface textures and fluid metallic finishes, she embraces moments where finishes seem to bubble to the surface of their own accord. Rather than controlling the outcome, Sheridan finds excitement in the unfolding process, trusting each piece as it strives towards its own sense of completeness.
Clay Journey with Return to Centre Ceramics Studio
Sheridan first joined Return to Centre Ceramics Studio through weekly wheel-throwing classes before progressing into the year-long Ceramic Journey Series. Spanning wheel throwing, handbuilding, alternative firing and portfolio development, the program culminated in an end-of-year group exhibition. She now participates in the Ceramic Mentorship Program, where she continues to deepen her sculptural and wheel-thrown forms. Her work is also now exhibited through Storehouse Gallery.
