OVERVIEW Workplace workshops offer teams an opportunity to step away from the everyday and experience the creative process of working with clay. Sessions are designed to encourage collaboration, conversation, and hands-on learning in a relaxed studio environment. Choose from handbuilding, pottery wheel, or a combination of both depending on your group size and interests. 4-8 Week Mixed-Ability Pottery Throwing Course | St Kilda Melbourne

Weekly classes designed to build strong foundations in wheel throwing. OVERVIEW These four and eight-week courses provide a structured introduction to wheel throwing while allowing space to develop your own interests over time. Through weekly demonstrations and guided practice, you'll build confidence with the fundamentals of making on the wheel. Classes are intentionally small, allowing me to work with each participant as they develop their skills. Forms That Teach Us | Advanced Pottery Course St Kilda

Eight-week studio units exploring one ceramic form in depth. OVERVIEW Forms That Teach Us focuses on a single form over eight weeks, allowing time to develop technique through repetition, observation, and refinement. Rather than moving quickly between projects, each unit encourages a deeper understanding of form and process. The series can be completed independently or alongside the Ceramic Journey Series. CURRENT BOWLS Develop bowls ranging from functional tableware through to larger serving and centrepiece forms while exploring proportion, scale, surface treatment, and glaze response. IN THE STUDIO Weekly demonstrations Focused technical development Individual feedback Surface exploration Glaze testing Details DURATIONS: 8 weeks PREREQUISITE: Foundation wheel throwing experience COST: Price includes clay, studio glazes, and test firings. A structured pathway through the technical and creative foundations of ceramics. OVERVIEW The Ceramic Journey Series is a collection of stand-alone eight-week courses that explore different areas of ceramics practice. Together they provide a broad foundation across wheel throwing, handbuilding, glazing, alternative firing, and exhibition development. Join a single course or continue through the full series as your practice develops.
